Refund & Returns Policy


At S & L Petersen & Co Pty Ltd, we aim to provide high-quality shipping containers and reliable service across Australia.

Due to the size, transport logistics, and nature of our products, all sales are subject to the terms outlined below.

Change of Mind

 

We do not accept returns or refunds for change of mind once an order has been processed or delivered.

Eligibility for Returns

 

Returns may only be considered if:

  • The container arrives with major structural damage that affects usability

  • The issue is reported within 24 hours of delivery

  • The container remains in its original delivered condition

All return requests are subject to inspection and approval.

Non-Returnable Conditions

 

Returns will not be accepted for:

  • Change of mind

  • Minor cosmetic wear (including dents, surface rust, or handling marks)

  • Used containers with expected wear and tear

  • Containers that have been modified, relocated, or used after delivery

  • Access or site issues preventing proper placement

Return Process

 

To request a return, contact us at:

Include:

  • Order details

  • Description of the issue

  • Photos (if applicable)

All requests must be submitted within 24 hours of delivery.

Return Shipping & Costs

 

If a return is approved:

  • Return transport will be arranged by us

  • A restocking fee of up to 20% may apply

  • Delivery and transport costs are non-refundable

Refunds

 

Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method.

Refunds are issued within 5–10 business days after inspection and approval.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

 

If your container is delivered with significant damage or is not as ordered, we will:

  • Arrange a replacement, or

  • Provide a partial or full refund where applicable

Order Cancellations

 

Orders cannot be cancelled once processing has begun or delivery has been scheduled.

Policy Updates

 

S & L Petersen & Co Pty Ltd reserves the right to update or modify this policy at any time.

Changes take effect immediately upon posting. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of those changes.
