Overview

S & L Petersen & Co Pty Ltd is a trusted supplier of shipping containers across Australia. We specialize in providing high-quality new and used containers with reliable delivery and professional service.

By accessing our website or purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Products & Services

We supply:

  • 10ft, 20ft,30ft and 40ft shipping containers

  • One trip (new) and used containers

  • Modified and specialty containers

All containers are inspected prior to delivery to ensure they meet wind and watertight standards.

Container Condition

  • Used Containers may have dents, rust, patches, and cosmetic wear

  • One Trip Containers may have minor handling marks

By purchasing, the buyer accepts normal wear and tear associated with shipping containers.

Pricing & Payment

  • All prices include delivery and GST unless stated otherwise

  • Full payment is required prior to delivery. Payment confirmation secures your order and allows us to schedule delivery.

  • We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order

Order Confirmation

All orders are confirmed via invoice prior to dispatch. Customers will receive order details including container type, condition, and delivery arrangements before final confirmation.

Delivery

  • Delivery is arranged after payment confirmation

  • Estimated delivery timeframe is typically within 3 to 10 business days depending on location and availability.

  • Deliveries are made Monday to Friday

Customer responsibilities:

  • Ensure clear access for delivery trucks

  • Provide sufficient space for unloading

  • Ensure ground conditions are suitable

Failed Delivery

If delivery cannot be completed due to site conditions:

  • Additional delivery fees may apply

  • Redelivery will be scheduled at the customer’s expense

Cancellations

  • Orders can only be cancelled before dispatch

  • Once scheduled or dispatched, cancellations may incur fees

  • Delivery fees are non-refundable once the truck is dispatched

Returns & Refunds

  • All container sales are final once delivered

  • Returns are only accepted in cases of major transport damage

  • Approved returns are subject to inspection and fees

Warranty

  • A 10-year structural warranty applies to eligible one trip containers, covering structural integrity under normal use conditions.

  • Warranty does not cover cosmetic wear, rust, or modifications

  • Any modification made by the buyer voids the warranty

Limitation of Liability

While all care is taken during delivery, S & L Petersen & Co Pty Ltd is not liable for minor ground or surface impact resulting from standard delivery operations. Customers are responsible for ensuring suitable access and ground conditions.

S & L Petersen & Co Pty Ltd is not responsible for:

  • Ground damage, driveway or access issues

  • Delays caused by weather or site conditions

Third-Party Services

We may use third-party logistics and delivery providers.
These providers operate independently and are responsible for transport.

Intellectual Property

All website content, images, and materials are owned by S & L Petersen & Co Pty Ltd and may not be copied or reused without permission.

Privacy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time.
Changes will be effective immediately upon posting.
